Equipment & Resources

First Thoughts

For our assignments I will allow you to use your own equipment – even your smartphone – or to use some of the prosumer equipment available through the College.

If you do want to borrow equipment, please make a plan well in advance to check out a camera and necessary accessories. It takes some time to get equipment – and even more time to learn how to use a particular camera. You also need to make sure you have time to:

  • Check the equipment (that it is everything you need)
  • Charge the battery (or batteries)
  • Test the camera to make sure you know how to use it! Many shoots have been spoiled by unprepared camera operators.
